RCEN Welcomes Juan....

We are delighted to welcome Juan Iglesias to the RCEN family. Juan was inducted on on Friday after being sponsored by Werner Gurner, himself a relatively new recruit.
Juan has been working in the banking industry for more than 20 years and in that time it has taken him from Switzerland to Spain to Germany to England, and now (finally?) to the Bahamas.
Juan already feels connected to Rotary as it resonates with the way he sees life. Together with his wife, he is currently funding a UNICEF project that allows women in Africa to attend school, allowing them to get a basic education. Juan also regularly visits an orphanage in Paraguay to spend time with the kids and bring them clothes and toys, and whilst in Europe Juan and his family used to serve Christmas dinner for those who did not have a house or family around them.
Juan is looking forward to carrying on this kind of community service with Rotary and we are certainly looking forward to having him as part of our team.
